Whats up Real Estate Agents! In this video I’m going to give you my eXp Reviews and Experience of being with eXp Realty for the past year! I’m going to tell you what I love, what I hate and everything that you should know before joining exp realty in Illinois!

So I was having dinner with a buddy of mine who had been a Realtor® with Keller Williams for many years. Out of the blue he told me that he was going to Move his real estate business to a new brokerage. I said, “oh, really … which one”?

He said … eXp Realty!

I was like huh? I had never heard of eXp! Why Them? (At this point I hadn’t seen any eXp Reviews or heard anything about them)

So my buddy told me all of the reasons that he was Joining eXp Realty and it all made sense, but he was going to be the first Agent in town to go with eXp. I thought that was a Big Risk! So, he made the move and his business didn’t skip a beat.

A Short time later, agents in my town from the Big traditional brokerages were jumping ship and joining exp realty. So I was like, ok, I’ve got to take a deeper look at this real estate brokerage!

After looking in to eXp further and checking it out, it was a no brainer for me, and I jumped right in and he walked me through how to Join eXp.

My First Listing:

So at a traditional brick and mortar brokerage, your managing broker in the office may sign off on your listings. However since eXp has a Cloud Based Campus, I wasn’t sure how this worked. Come to find out, it was extremely simple. I just logged into my eXp Agent Hub, digitally sent the listing agreement to my Broker. I couldn’t believe how fast it was signed and back in my hands. It was signed, approved and emailed back within about 10 minutes. After a year, I still get my documents back to me that quickly, and I never commute to an office!

My First Closing

One challenge I has was that I had never used the Transaction Management Software (Skyslope) before. It didn’t take me long to figure out though. I uploaded copies of the Settlement sheet and Closing info into my Agent HUB and had my commission sent to my account via EFT. I couldn’t believe how fast I was paid, and I’m still very pleased with this process today! After the first transaction, it simplified my business. And I don’t know how I ever worked without it.

The first month or two, I had questions that I wasn’t sure how or where to get the answers. So I just called my upline sponsor and they helped me right away. What I didn’t know at the time is that I had my Upline Sponsor who could help me, my Broker, and my Workgroups. What I figured out later is that the most Powerful Source of Help for eXp Agents is actually in the eXp World, which is our Cloud Based Campus. Any questions that you need can be answered by a Live person during normal working hours. And if you don’t know how to get around the Cloud Campus, there is a “Help Desk” right when you Log in. There is a Live Person that can get you to the right spot so that you can get help, join a meeting or training, and get back to work earning commissions fast!

Another cool thing that happened is that after I closed my first transaction with eXp, I logged into my Agent Hub and saw that I had just earned shares (Stock) in the company, just for doing what we do every day! I couldn’t believe it, but I was pumped! Talk about Financial Stability for Real Estate Agents! This is the one of the reasons that I made a video to share my eXp Realty Reviews with you!

Another One of my Buddies Wanted To Join eXp

After I started my eXp Career, I told another one of my buddies (who was formerly with ReMax), how this Realty Model blew away all of the old traditional brokerages. I got out a pen paper and showed him how much more commission he would keep in his pocket at eXp and earn Shares in the companies (and also buy eXp Stock at a Discount). He was already pumped, but when I showed him eXp Revenue Share Program and how Agents are Paid 1st and off the Top, he was drooling. He said, “Brock, I don’t need to know anything else at this point except how do I join eXp. So, I helped him and walked him through the onboarding process, and he was smashing it right out of the gate!

Another cool thing that I got me really excited is that when my buddy closed his first transaction at eXp, he earned shares in the company. And as an added Bonus, because I Sponsored him and helped him get moved to eXp, when he closed his first transaction, I also earned shares in the eXp. That is their way to reward agents who help the company grow!

Now when I log in to my eXp Agent Hub and look at how much my earned eXp Stock is worth, it really excites me.

Support is Top Notch!

The support at eXp has been at a very high level! I’m still impressed after a year. From my Broker, to the IT Department for technical help to the support team for Transactions. The Cloud Based Campus is available for any kind of help or support that I have ever needed … and they are super fast! No more waiting for someone to come to the office to help you, train you or help you fix a technical glitch in your web site!

Training Classes Are Awesome!

If you are wanting to join a realty brokerage who will support and train you so that you can excel your business, eXp Realty is definitely the place! They provide about 50 hours each week of LIVE Training. These trainings cover many topics, including; Listing Presentations, Lead Generation, Marketing, etc. I can look at my calendar and see every training that is happening this week and I can choose any and all. The best part is that I don’t have to commute to an office. They are Live in our Cloud based campus

Ordering New Signs

One thing about moving to a new realty brokerage is that you will need to update your signs. This turned out to be such a simple process for me. Inside out Agent Hub, eXp has relationships with a couple of sign companies. I chose the one (Build-a-Sign) that seemed to have the most options and flexibility on uploaded the Custom Sign that I wanted. Once I uploaded my design and approved it, I had my signs in about a week. They were easy to order, plus I received a 40% discount by using that Coupon Code that is provided to eXp Agents.

And Now … The BAD NEWS ….
I have actually thought about this for a while and after a year at eXp, I actually don’t have bad news that I have experienced! I do have some things to share that I thought I didn’t like … at First!

What I didn’t think I would like (at First)

1). No Physical Office to go to!

Over the pat 100 years, the traditional real estate brokerages help brainwashed agents mind to believe that the only way to be successful is to do business out of a brick and mortar office. And pay Desk Fees, Franchise Fees, Shared Office Expense Fee and in many cases pay a High Cap/Split! Most real estate agents today do most of their business outside of the brokerage office. In fact, I rarely met clients at an office. I would always meet them at their home, a home I’m showing them or at the local coffee shop. So what I thought would be way different has actually worked out great! Especially the costs savings!

Or you are concerned about not being able to hang around the office kitchen and connect with other agents, the eXp Cloud Campus (eXp World) has meetings, roundups, networks and Networking events with Top Producing agents from all of the world that you can connect with every day!

If you would like to get out of your home and just do some work on your computer, eXp has a relationship with Regus Corporate Office Spaces. Regus has over 3,200 Office spaces that you can use with eXp Corporate Membership!

2). Cloud Based Office.     SO, the Cloud Based Campus may seem a little different for real estate agents. When you log into eXp World, you will have an “Avatar” figure (that’s you), that you will see as you walk around the Cloud Campus. What at first seemed a bit strange to me, turned out to be really cool. If you don’t know where the Accounting Department is or Where the Meeting Room or Board Room that you should be in, the person at the “Help Desk” is the first person you will see when you log in. They will show how to get to any place on campus and which department can answer any question that you have!

3). The Onboarding Process:       I wasn’t sure about the Onboarding process, but my sponsor walked me through the process and helped a lot. When Joining eXp Realty, you will name your Sponsor. This is the person who helped influence you the most and who helped you walk through the steps of joining to make the process simple (rather than a challenge). There is no negatives with naming a sponsor, only positives. Because your sponsor will be there for you at the onboarding process and a good sponsor will be available to you (via cell phone) if you need help after joining or help sponsoring your buddies so that you can unlock Revenue Share for yourself.

The onboarding process takes about 10-14 days from start to finish. There are some hoops that can seem confusing at first, when starting the joining process.

I will also personally help you after your onboarding to show you how to set up your Agent Up and tools so that you are ready to go out and and start Earning Commissions right away! In this blog post, I’m going to walk you through the eXp Realty Revenue Share model. I’m going to show you how you can unlock your retirement box.  eXp Revenue Share and how it can help you Escape the Rat Race!

I’m a Real Estate Broker and an Investor. And Speaking of unlocking this “Retirement Box”, I have also personally bought about 200 Investment Properties. This journey of unlocking retirement income can be way easier for you by utilizing the eXp Realty Revenue Share!

Here’s the big problem. Most Real Estate Agents will Retire Broke! I personally know many agents who are way up there in years that are still selling houses. Not because they are looking for something to do, but because they need to eat!

As real estate agents, we spend so much time focusing on earning commissions.  We use most of our commissions to fund our lifestyles. Our cars, houses, vacations, etc. Very little of our hard earned money ever makes its way into our retirement bucket! No matter where you are at in your journey of life, realize this.  We now have an opportunity with the eXp Realty Revenue Share that has never been offered to agents before.

Now before I go into the details, I want you to know that there is a really big difference between the eXp Revenue Share and other brokerages Profit Share.

With the eXp Realty Revenue Share, agents are paid right off the top. Unlike profit share, agents are paid after all expenses have been covered. Remember, most traditional companies have brick and mortal fees.  These fees can cost up to hundreds of millions of dollars every year. And if after paying all of the staff and all of the brick and mortar, at the very bottom if there is anything left, that’s when you get profit share.

So let me share you how agents are paid first with eXp realty Revenue Share!

First, let me help you understand the difference between “Profit Share” and “Revenue Share”. How Profit share works, is if after all of the expenses of the company are paid … if there is any profit left … then you may get a little something. If there is no profit left after paying all of the expenses, then you get Zero!

With eXp Revenue Share, agents are paid 1st and off the Top! The reason that this is possible with eXp Realty is because we are a cloud based campus. Unlike the traditional real estate brokerages that have brick and mortar buildings all across the country.  Again, costing them perhaps up to Hundreds of Millions of Dollars each each. Also, can you guess who funds all of that? ….. YOU, the agent! Seems upside down doesn’t it?

Revenue Share at eXp Realty has 7 levels. As with the Chart below, eXp will pays a percentage of commission split for each level of Rev Share. In order to unlock Level 1, you just need to refer/sponsor 1 buddy to eXp.

To unlock Tier 2, you just need to have attracted/sponsored 5 buddies (FLQA).

Tier 3, you just need to have attracted/sponsored 10 buddies (FLQA).

Tier 4, you just need to have attracted/sponsored 15 buddies (FLQA).

Tier 5, you just need to have attracted/sponsored 20 buddies (FLQA).

Tier 6, you just need to have attracted/sponsored 25 buddies (FLQA).

Tier 7, you just need to have attracted/sponsored 40 buddies (FLQA).
